Los Altos Hill House
Located in Los Altos Hills, the space was designed by Sullivan Design Studio as a comfortable, yet elegant landing pad reflective of their clients’ interests and backgrounds.
To achieve the mission of creating a balanced oasis, Sullivan turned up the elegance by injecting lavender notes in the main living space but pared it down with more natural textures in the home office that adds a sense of warmth to the space. In addition, the homeowners wanted the backyard to be an extension of the residential space, so Simpson designed the space with retractable doors that blur the lines between inside and out. A stucco-and-stone exterior blends beautifully with the limestone patio, creating outdoor living rooms that extend from the family room in two directions. The open-air pool house gives the family another shaded outdoor retreat to enjoy — especially during the summer months!
