Hamilton Street Residence
Studio Lau completed the full renovation of a Toronto home to utilize all of the space and to fill it with light and function.
The young owners of this old two storey brick dwelling in Toronto took over the house from the husband’s grandmother. He had many fond memories of spending time in the house, but wanted to turn the compartmentalized and dark spaces into a home they could call their own.
The house was stripped down to its brick walls and a large rear addition was built, providing a blank canvas to create a space that would reflect the couple’s tastes and modern lifestyle.
